Gammon?

I have just made gammon potatoes and carrots for me and OH and i was wondering if Connah would be ok to have some?

I have put aside a few carrots and a potato for him and he has his own gravy but i was wondering about the gammon?

I never put salt in our cooking but i know gammon is quite salty anyway.

I have put aside a small piece but im not sure if i should give it or not.
Ant advice would be great x

Izzy has had tiny bits to nibble, but not in a meal due to the salt.

Next time you cook it you should soak the gammon over night - that reduces the salt.

A small amount should be ok, just make sure that you watch the salt content of the rest of his foods. As long as he's not having loads of salty food then I don't think there is a problem.

He has never had salty food yet as weve been on veggies most of the time,never any jars either.

I ended up giving him the tiniest amount tonight so i think that was ok,as you say,ill just keep an eye on the rest of his food for salt x
