Gap clothes - rubbish quality?!

The GAP hoodies have been fab for my two. Washed well and worn well too, never had a problem? Never really had anything else other than t-shirts and they were the same?

I agree with Next though, you can't beat their clothes for quality. I always tend to wait for the sale or go to an outlet and get bargains!! I spent £60 last time and came home with shoes, dresses, jeans, t-shirts, leggings for the kids, definately wait for the sale. But be prepared for mania.

You're a braver woman than me to attempt the next sale!!

I get most of Charlie's stuff from Gap and I think the quality is excellent - his clothes last for ages! Maybe you've been unlucky with a faulty batch or something? I find their stuff washes really well - He's still wearing a jacket I got him last year and it still looks really good. :flow:

I find gap sizing small, got 2 fleece hoodies which I find really hard to even get over their heads bless them! xx

Never had a problem with the quality of gap, its not realy my choice of clothing to buy because im not big on lables on clothes but OH family seems to loves buying him gap clothing and we have had some realy nice things form there.
A couple of his hoodies and trousers have lasted him realy well

I like Gap for jersey wear and hoodies but thats it, I find the sizing very small, my LO is already wearing 4-5 which is stooopid! I stick to light colours as I find the darks fade loads. I love Boden for LO, it is on the pricey side but the clothes really last, I buy big and wear loads. x

I've bought from Gap and I've never noticed that kind of thing; in fact my impression of them is that they're really good quality

The only problem I've had is that the clothing I've bought seems to be really big for my daughter. She's 17 months old, and wears 12-18 in most brands, but is only just starting to grow out of her 6-12 stuff from Gap. I bought her a few one-piece outfits (thin cotton, long legs but sleeveless) in the spring, to wear in the summer, and it looks like she will have to wear them through the winter with long sleeves underneath because they're still too big on her

I'm not far from the Trafford Centre and they stay open til late...so I just go late at night and have a good toot!

I did go once when it was about a day in and is was just chaos...they were out the door for the queue and was not doing that. I just put the clothes down and went back later that night, I was well pleased when I noticed that the majority of the items I wanted to buy were still there!
