Gas Pains??

I am having fairly significant pain in my left side down near my hip. It doesn't feel like round ligament pain. When the baby moves the pain intensifies in that spot. The pain has been fairly constant (like a steady 3) but them shoots up to a 6 or 7 out of no where. The only thing I can think of is maybe gas?? Anyone else had something similar? I don't want to call my doctor unless I have to.
