I am 1 year post op roux-en-y GB...almost! *Jan 17, 2102*
MY DOC gave me the GOAHEAD on TTC! My starting weight pre-op was 421lb and now I am 245lb. Yeah 245lb is still HEAVY but...my doc said i could have as much as 25lb in JUST skin alone. I am STILL losing and not finished but before I even think about getting said LBS of skin removed we are going to complete our family!
I had my daughter @ 390LB...huge!!! C-Section, horribly uncomfortable and selfish pregnancy...I had NO clue what danger I was putting in my daughters future just by carrying her while I was so large.
New ME new plans!!
Has anyone else been in my shoes? Am I being stupid again by TTC? I dont have ANY medical problems anymore and I am in constant check of my BP and sugars just INCASE. I am 60 LBS away from being able from pre-surgery *skin removal*
I WOULD LOVE to hear your story/advice about bringing life into the world after weight loss or GB!

You've lost almost 200lbs, that is amazing!
