Okay so my ex left me when i got pregnant but he got back in touch about 2 weeks before i was due to give birth and i agreed to give it another go. He was there at the birth and was really supportive for the first week or so then he moved in with me again and he kind of lost interest, left taking care of our daughter and all the housework to me while he just played on his playstation 3.

Anyway one day when she was about 2 weeks old she wouldn't stop crying all night and at about 3 or 4am he got out of bed, yanked her out of her moses basket, shook her and while he was shaking her said "u need to stop crying now, u little slag". I know it was wrong but i told him if he did anything like that again i'd leave him. I then found out while we weren't together he'd got some other girl pregnant :/ When i told him he took it on my baby shouting at her and blowing in her face when she cried so i kicked him out and phoned the police who admitted us to hospital for 2 days to check nothing was wrong with charlotte. Thankfully nothing was, but where do I go from here to stop him from seeing her? He is on her birth certificate :( and I had social services round today who said I'm not a risk to her so they're happy with me keeping her :)

that is shocking! that anyone could do that to a baby is just appalling that he's been violent towards your baby will definitly go in your favour if you try to stop contact he sounds like a horrible person

I went crazy when FOB gave LO skanky, dirty secondhand clothes. I'm not even gonna put in writing what I would do to FOB if he did that to my baby. You get the gist though....

That man must never be near you LO. I dunno what can be put in place but you must look into it.
Neverever take this man back for your LOs sake.

Big hug hun! :hugs:

xxxxx

i won't take him back, hes a scumbag and a waste of space, i just hope courts let him nowhere near her but i've got a feeling they will :( x

good on you for calling the police and social services

i cant beleive anyone would hurt a child like that its horrible. i hope court will tell him to get lost

Oh hun that is terrible, but well done on calling the police etc.

I am sure the courts cant give him access when he has done that? x

who do you go to to stop fob seeing lo?
no one just stop
change your number etc
if fob bothered he will come to you or go to a solicitors and have it done the proper way

As angelpkj, if FOB is 100% set on being a part of LO's life then he'll go through the 'proper' channels... however... with a history as what you have just described he won't be getting sod all. You have been so strong thus far and try and stay strong for your beautiful LO. :hugs:

He shook his own baby:shock:

The f**king cruel *******!!!

Jesus, you are better off on your own.

Please don't let him see her unsupervised EVER!!!!!

V xxx

Not only did he shake her he called her nasty name. :nope: how awful! Have SS told you how to proceed with this?

Oh my goodness. You are so doing the right thing by you and Charlotte xxx Hugs hun x

On the behalf of my gender, I would like to apologize for the actions of this "male".

Have you got a solicitor? I'd get legal advice if he's on the birth certificate they might recomend putting a residency order on long giving you full parental rights and put a restraining order on him. I guess ss will make a report against him? X

Oh my god that is such a disgrace! Im sorry you and Charlotte had to go through something like that xx

I would have beaten him to a paste, you have more restraint than I do by a long shot.
