Advice needed! Baby is on neocate and we are struggling very bad with keeping it down due to the consistency. We trialed taking him off gaviscon so we could try carobel which has solved the problem with keeping the milk down. Problem is we are now refluxing really bad. Anyone know if its possible to continue with gaviscon and use just a -little- carobel to thicken it just a smudge? I know it says not to use with other thickeners but getting a tad desperate x

Hi. My lg is on neocate with gaviscon in. Is he on any other medication? would probably better than mixing the gaviscon and carobel although i wouldnt see the problem in doing this. Just make sure its not too thick x

Yeah hes on every medication under the sun atm as they cant get his reflux under control.

Hes taking the gaviscon, ranitidine and lanzapersole (i think i totally just spelled that wrong!).
