gaviscon double action tablets

Are we allowed to take these does anyone know?

Normal gaviscon from a bottle has stopped working, as has milk and rennies!

Anyone tried the tablets?

I have tried the ones you suck didnt think they were any good, gaviscon fluid not so good either but my partner got me the double action fluid in mint, and i do find it works better than the origional, other option is to try a spoon of honey

Hey! I suffer with heartburn without being pregnant and was on omeprazole before i conceived, the heartburn has got so bad during pregnancy that ive tried everything, currently i carry the double action tablets with me but find they are a bit crap tbh, they have changed my tablets to esomeprazole which is stronger but am still slurping gaviscon from the bottle during the night. If its bad continuous heartburn it might be worth contacting ur gp and asking for omeprazole, it poses no harm to the baby and 1 tablet a day should knock it completely on the head if ur a normal being with no heartburn problems already like me haha. Ye and at the same time try cutting out foods that bring it on, i so crave cheese and bacon pasty but the pastry gives me terrible heartburn so i have cut it out completely, and spicy foods etc.

Hi i have been using the gaviscon double action tablets for last few weeks as get heart burn at night and cant sleep, seem fine and do work altohugh end up burping most of the night! Better than rennie x
