Well how did your sons daughters do :flower:
My son did ok 3As 4Bs 1C but he failed English so now he cannot do ALevels like he wanted..:nope::cry:
He is upset and now I just feel crap.

I posted a while ago before revision etc started cos I had trouble getting him to knuckle down and work he just didn't want t revise and now he has results I just wish he'd have listened.

He now has to resist English in November and do level 2 in other subjects as the ones he chose cannot do...

The most hurtful thing is he just cared about his mates now his mates have passes all doing a levels and he feels like shit and so do I...

I warned him like most parents do your friends are not always right not always to follow so while he thought it was good to ignore rules at home not come home from school not listen to me or teachers he is now the one suffering :nope::cry:

I've told him this year you'll have to work twice as hard and just try and I'm going to leave him to it. I am upset but you learn from your mistake..

I'm proud he's done good it's just the whole attitude and nastiness he has towards me but now he needs to understand his friends are moving up and on they not waiting for him like they thought they would :nope:

Anyway how did everyone else get on :happydance::happydance:

First of all those results are very good so well done him :)

Although my son done pretty well in his GCSEs (7Bs, 3Cs,) and got into the A levels he wanted, he done pretty crap in his Alevels, he went back to college last year to do a few different A levels which he was suppose to complete this year but he applied for a HND which will get him into Uni next year as a second year student and was accepted, so although he kind of went of track last year, mostly because he was so upset because he wasnt going straight to uni like most of his friends he kind of gave up and decided to try something else, but now he is back doing what he has always wanted to do, he has finally realised that he doesnt need to give up his dreams over a few bad exam results, just put in some extra work and keep going.

So my point is as long as your son knows what he wants to do and knows that he can do it even if it takes a year or 2 more than his friends then thats all that matter, as long as he knows not to give up then I am sure he will get to where he wants to be :)
