This is my 3rd GD pregnancy. Now here I am feeling terrible because I can't control my sugars by diet this time 
Going to ring hospital tomorrow to get metformin organised.
I just feel awful. This baby is much bigger than my two sons and the abdomen growth has accelerated which shows despite a mixture of ok and unpredictable readings my GD hasn't been well controlled. The guilt is there
I've already lost one baby (33 weeks gestation discovered very poorly at growth scan but not GD related) and just want this baby - a daughter - out safe and sound.
What can I expect from the metformin?
