Hi all!
It's a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet you all and to find this forum. After unsuccessfully trying to find places of support for people who weren't trying, just planning, I am so, so happy to have found this place.
I never thought I would be a mum growing up. I didn't think I had it in me. Then, when I moved to Australia and married, I still didn't think I would be a mum because I was terrified of turning into my mother. (long story)
But I've come far in working out my emotions and my mind, and I know that being a mother has always been a longing in me - I've just suppressed it because it hurt too much to think about it never happening.
Now I'm here, planning on having children and very excited to talk to people about their experiences. I have the odds stocked against me for conceiving (PCOS), but that's why we're waiting so I can get my health under control.
Anywho, I'll stop there before I write a book. I'm truly, truly glad to have found this place.
