A friend who was due around the same time as me decided to show me her bump and pointed out the fact that she was over 30 weeks pregnant.. 10 weeks to go wow!

Couldnt help but secretly want to murder her because it reminded me of the fact that I would have had that bump and that I would have had 10 weeks to go too.

What are friends for afterall!

Sorry to hear of your loss. When I lost my 1st daughter at 22 weeks I called a close friend to tell her the sad news and she said she knew how I felt because one of her other friends had recently decided to abort her baby because the pressure of being pregnant at uni was too much...not the same!!! We haven't spoken since.

Some people have no tact.

Maybe you could try approaching the subject if she is a good friend, tell her how happy you are for her, but point out that you will be foeeling sad as its a constant reminder that you dont have your baby any more. Good friends will understand and back off with the comments.
Recently one of my friends put on their face book status "All I want is my GF and baby boy home for Christmas" They stopped in hospital overnight. It made me so mad I had to restrain myself from typing, really you dont know how lucky you are all I want for Christmas is my Daughter to be alive!

Thanks guys I have told her many times that I'm a bit fragile about the subject.. I guess she's just a little excited and I can't blame her for telling me about it.. Just wish the jelousy would end lol

Awh im so sorry
that happend to me last year, i lost my angel in may 09 at 12 weeks and a friend of mine had the exact same due date as me, then she posted on facebook all pics of her bump, i know she was happy and excited to show people but it just felt like rubbing salt in wounds... then when i finished looking i broke down, but it was hard not to look, and i kept thinking to myself " thats what i should look like now "
Some people just dont think first!
