Gender Scan Paranoia and Getting Rid of Old Baby Stuff

I've been feeling pretty confident about my 18 week gender scan until now (potty shot with three clear lines and sonographer was confident baby is a girl). In the past few days my husband both lost his old job and was offered a new job (he'd been searching for awhile). Problem is the new job will require moving a couple hundred miles away before the baby is born. I had been saving almost all of my son's clothes from the past 5 years just in case and figured I'd wait until after the baby was born to get rid of whatever boy's stuff was unusable for a girl. However, I'm now in the situation of trying to clear stuff out that we don't need so we don't have to pay to have it moved, plus it's very possible we may not have space to store the 7 or so big bins of baby/kid clothes I have. Now, I'm worried I'm going to be getting rid of all this boy's stuff only to find out the gender scan was off. I'm pretty sure I'm just being paranoid, but it would be such a pain to get rid of everything just to have to buy it again. What would you do in this situation? Go ahead and sell everything except the more gender neutral stuff now or drag it with you just in case?

yeah i think if this was me, i would be digging out all the stuff that can be used flr both & getting rid of deffinate boy clothes, atleast u will have somewhere to start (should little girly turn out to be a boy) & u wont have to go crazy later & u can just buy what u need :) plus like u said u wont be paying for loads of boxes to be moved if u can narrow them down a little ..

All the best :)! xx

Im feeling the exact same way!! Started getting rid of all of my baby girls stuff... Getting scared though about the ultra sound.. What if she was wrong?!?

I got rid of my baby girl stuff within days of finding out I am having a boy. We are moving and don't want to bring it all with us. I am sure baby is a boy though, I've had 2 ultrasounds to confirm it and the tech showed us a very clear shot.

I'm feeling the same way. Was told definitely a girl at 20 week scan but was never actually shown the screen or any potty shots so I am skeptical! But I held on to DS baby stuff for 3 years so I was trying to make room for new stuff but was so afraid to let go of his things just in case.. I sorted through everything that could be re used as gender neutral and kept that.. The rest I gave to my cousin who just had a baby boy so I guess if I did get a surprise in delivery room I could ask for it back in a few months haha!

I'm exactly the same, me and DH both seen boy parts at our 20wk scan and the tech agreed baby is a boy but I'm so worried that baby will be a girl I have both boy and girl clothes (from DS as I wouldn't get rid of them until DD was born just incase and I have kept most of DDs clothes just incase again!) most out newborn and 0-3 clothes are white and cream so I guess we were lucky like that x
