This is my 7th baby and the 3rd time I have had GD. I am just over 16 weeks and my midwife gave me a monitor to check my blood glucose levels from 15 weeks. I only did half a week and had to ring her as my pre breakfast readings were off the charts. Before this I was just eating what I normally would which is a pretty healthy diet anyway but now I have started restricting my carbs and I am now suffering with terrible headaches and my pre breakfast readings are just the same.

What can I do about the headaches?
I hate taking paracetamol when I am pregnant but with the kids still off on school hOLS i HAVE NO CHOICE. hELP!!!

What where your readings if you don't mind me asking, I had gd last time pretty severe, this time it appears I got away without it tho xxx

If your pre breakfast readings are too high, have you tried a night time smack before bed? That will help reduce the need for your body to release sugars from your liver.
