Gestational diabetes questions

I had GD in my last pregancy it was also insulin controlled how likely am I to develop it in this pregnancy? Also will I be given earlier testing? X

I had GD with DD1 and almost 5 years later again with DD2. I started testing at 6 weeks and already had elevated numbers. I checked my old log book to see what my numbers were like the first time and noticed that this time they were much higher. Fasting was low 100's first time and mid 130's this time. I've never has insulin though, just glyburide both times. First time was 5 mg and this time we've had to play with the dosage to get control. I've been on 10 mg this time. It's been really tough having to be strict from 6 weeks so I'm glad my baby will be here soon . Surprised she's only weighing 6.5 lbs at 37 weeks according to the growth scan. Good luck Hun .
