I'm 15 weeks pregnant , and heard different things about getting my hair died, what are your oppinions is it safe? Thanks x

It's okay. As I see it after 12 weeks would be fine.
But because of your change in hormones the colour might not take to your hair the way it should.

hey babe, i'm a hair dresser, and i say its fine. The comment above is correct though, the colour may not come out as you want it but thats usually if your going lighter, and this doesn't happen to everyone. It also Can depend on what shampoo you use. If your able to ask the hairdresser to do a skin test, this will make sure your not too sensitive for the colour, as sometimes your scalp can also change! I got my hair coloured the other week though and it was fine. Hope that helped xox

agree with the other two ^^^ I have my hair dyed about 32 weeks and the colour took find even had blond highlights everything went fine xx

Hi it's fine don't worry, my aunt is a hairdresser and I've had mine done twice now since being pregnant and she said it's perfectly fine so go and treat yourself

i dyed mine before i knew i was preg i was about 5weeks, and the colour majourly faded but other than that it should be fine

I had bleach highlights done about 4 weeks ago, it went fine :)

Ive jst had it done and the colour has taken fine, thanks for all your advice xx

did mine blonde at 18 weeks, had to bleach it about 20 times to get it as blonde as i wanted cos it just went bright orange lol. so the not looking the way you expected thing is correct! i also did it brown and then purple and then browny purple  all throughout pregnancy and Jude's doing good!

Yeah i did mine sort of early on aswell and nothing bad happened. It just faded a little quicker then i wanted.
