I figured that myself and the baby are getting so much attention, pressies and the such, I've decided to get him a "Daddy gift" for him to open when we come home. : D : D
What is yours? I still need some ideas...
Since she's coming so close to christmas I think I will just get him this one gift.
Here's mine for him:
it's a hand-made painted owl set by a local artist here. He likes owls. Each owl represents one of the family. :cloud9:
If we have more than one child I guess we can get more little owls. Heh heh heh. : P
What do you think of it?
haha, I like how the baby owl is on his head. : P

For my OH I think a healthy baby is enough of a present! Lol! X

That is cute. I have not even considered getting OH a gift. Im pretty sure Im not getting anything except a baby!

I think this is a very cute idea! I'd like to something like that but have no idea what I would get him. I'll have to think about it..

Cute idea! - I'm taking my husband out on a date to a movie he's been wanting to see and a good dinner as he's a pretty simple man and has all the material things he wants. I thought a fun night out would be a good gift to show him I care. He went to the babyshower though and got to enjoy being center of attention as well :)

Ha ha I agree about the baby being a nice gift.

I wanted to surprise him with something special and small he could have for life from this special event.
Well besides the baby. Lol.

Anon~ That is a good idea. : )

I was also thinking of getting something monogrammed...

When i had my DD i never thought of this but when my mom came to visit before she was born she had made him a beautiful quilt that is loves and said no one ever pays attention to the daddy. He is just has responsible for the little baby. He couldnt have been happier considering i have had gotton on the attention and him basically nothing lol I think its a GREAT idea

Yes it is a lovely idea - haven't really thought about a gift for hubby - considering we are moving and we will be spending lots of money on new house and the bubba any niceties will come in the form of a nice meal out for just me and hubby which we can use to mark the occasion of becoming a mummy and a daddy - your gift is lovely though :o) xxxxx

Personally my evil self thinks that yes the OH is going to be the father but the baby gets the gifts because they are new and the mama gets the gifts because she just had to go through 9 months of pregnancy and then had to push LO out! They both desearve more attention :)

its nice idea but dh hates ornaments :haha:
he has a baby from me what else does he bloody want :haha:

That owl family is sooooo cute. I love that baby owl is on daddy's head as well :)

Cute owl!! My hubby is not getting a present, he's having a baby and I think thats plenty!x

I might get my hubby a I'm a daddy t-shirt as he is already so proud :)

I don't think I'm getting DH a pressie, he got a I am daddys little angel tshirt as a cute birthday gift-for baby to wear, not him! plus it will be christmas soon after so will be getting something then. I love the idea behind this gift but I've had a painful pregnancy and think that me and baby are the ones that deserve the treat personally! xxx

I would like to get mt fiance a small token gift (nothing too expensive) just to say thankyou to him for being so supportive and caring over the last 9 months.... Not sure what yet though

I like this idea! My partner has been fantastic, so I want to get him something, but no idea what >.<

I think it's a wonderful idea. Yes, I may be carrying LO and giving birth, but daddys deal with other stressors, so it's a really loving gesture to let them know they count. I think the owls are wonderful, too...you're such a sweetheart!

We've got Daddy a bottle of his favourite whiskey! After having our last bubs he said when he finally came home ( me and bubs still in hospital) he sat down and had a glass of whiskey and grinned to himself for a couple of hours!
Also got him some slippers! Daddy's should all have slippers! LOL

I think that is a great gift and I'm sure he will love it. I haven't even started to think of what to get my husband.

Lol, wow, DH is sooo unlucky to have married me! I think that the baby is more than enough! If anyone is getting a present besides the baby, it better be me!! He's had it easy all these months....I haven't.
