getting a ticker onto my post HELP !!!!!

Please help !!!, i am trying to get TICKER going on my posts but i cant do it whould someone please explain the steps to getting this owrking in plain english please , I might add that i am not thick but just dont understand it.

click someones ticker> create your own on the site> copy bb code> log into bnb> user CP> Edit signature> paste code
