hi all, :flower:

as my ticker says i'm almost 16 weeks. i feel fine, just very tired and still a bit a sick in the evenings. i've got a small bump, but not too sure whether is a real one or just bloat  my boobs are massive. so everything seems ok, but i'm getting very anxious as i keep thinking that maybe the baby is not growing anymore :nope: (i had a missed misacarriage last year, although i was only 8 weeks).
this is my first and i do not know what i should expect at this stage, how quickly my bump should grow, etc etc. the baby is supposed to be the size of an orange - surely i should feel it somehow??

any words of encouragement?

:hugs: I think you are doing just fine, when I was 15 weeks onwards I was still a bit bloaty more than bumpy, I did not have any real symptoms other than heartburn, which I still get now, in fact more now than ever, if that makes sense, even now at almost 28 weeks I cannot always feel my lo if I feel my bump, I can however feel him move everyday, it depends on where he is and I was slim before I got pregnant so I am all bump now :)

It is normal to worry, I still do, as you can see from my signature i have had losses and I think with all the hormones we are ultra sensitive and emotional most of the time :)

thanks kiki!:hugs:
i needed that.... i broke out in tears after wrting my post.
i'm getting sooo stressed.:nope:
i wish i could feel my LO move!!

I was the same, the hormones don't help, you may well start to feel the little "bubble" feeling of you little one v soon, i think I started at just after 16 weeks, and this is my first! But only when I was v still and laying down flat! I also bought myself a doppler, because I got so stressed but made myself not panic if I could not find a hb, which to be fair I always did, it did take me a good few mins at times as he loved to hide from me  but I still use it now when he has his quiet days!

You can pm me anytime you feel scared or just need to chat, I know exactly how you are feeling :hugs: I am sure your lo is fine, you are in the 2nd tri now, before you know it you will be huge and wondering where time has gone :)

Hey kosh babes - don't stress! I don't feel that pregnant anymore and I'm only a couple of days behind you. My boobs are firmer and TMI nipples huge - but not even that sore and the MS has pretty much gone. Sometimes I forget I'm pregnant. My bump is mostly bloat which just makes me look fat and Im pretty sure anything I do feel is merely wind. Its totally normal not to feel anything significant up until about 20 weeks. The joys of parenthood, the worrying starts from conception. I am finding it rather awkward bending - like there is a solid ball in my abdomen and its pretty firm but really I'm just enjoying not throwing up everywhere at the moment.

When is your next appointment? I have one next week with the midwife so hopefully I will get to hear the heartbeat then! :hugs:

funny you say that - sometimes when i'm in bed at night i feel exactly that, like a bubble crossing around my tummy, but i thought it was too early and had to be gas or something! i only feel it when i get into bed and try to make myself comfortable.
maybe it is him??

you know i was going to get a dopler and then read a few things that put me off buying it plus I knew i'd get a bit obsessed, but now i wish i had one!

end of july with MW. mid august for the 20w scan. can't wait!
good luck with yours!!

I have nipples like dinner plates. I also have an angel sounds doppler which I use 2/3 times a week just to reassure myself, as long as you don't get obsessed then its a lovely thing to be able to hear LO's heartbeat :)
