Hi ya hope everyone is well on here. Well I've got a little girl who is a year n a half and also a newborn well he's nearly 14 weeks old now going so fast. I had both by emergency c section :-( so not by choice at all. Anyway I've always wanted a bigger family but I'm getting very worried that I may not be able to now the hospital said if I have another it will have to be a c section as I say getting worried as been reading about it n its a bigger risk to keep having children by c section as wil need a blood transfusion and the more you have the higher the percentage goes up risk do very scared. Whats peoples thoughts on this.

I'm not sure of the reasons for your caesarean's but there shouldn't be any reason you can't attempt a vaginal birth with your next baby. I had an emergency section with my daughter and had a vaginal birth with my son, although that had other problems (shoulder dystocia) which means I've opted for a caesarean this time. Usually they recommend only having 3 sections, but I know women who have had 4 or 5 without a problem.

I wonder if the transfusion is just a precaution? I almost needed one this last time because of my hemoglobin. Not too horrible. Would have just been hooked up through my Iv.

I think you need to talk to your doctor and get the real facts vs. just reading about them. There are so many risks with sections in general it's really the percentages that count.

When I had my c-section a few weeks ago the precaution was to ok/ not ok blood transfusion if needed. Of course i wanted to live so if needed i told them to go for it if need.. :) Also unless medically necessary ladies that have had a c-section can still have a vag birth after. all depends on the pregnancy :flower:
