Getting so much spotting before my period now!

Does anyone else have this happen? I usually get my full period around the end of the month. But lately, I start spotting around the 22nd or 23rd of the month. It's so annoying and worries me as well. I feel like I have my period forever! I guess the silver lining is I know pretty early if I'm not pregnant....
I've been TTC for over a year now and am losing hope....

Don't lose hope I had that happen for me at one time. My doctor said it could be ovulation bleeding. I can't offer much for advice other than maybe talk to your doctor. Best wishes.. *baby dust* and DON'T give up!!

i have had that for a while now. My doctor said it is low progesterone. I am now taking clomid to regulate my cycles.

Spotting can be a sign of low progesterone.. Since you're spotting so much it's definitely worth getting checked out. It may not be the reason though. But that could be keeping you from conceiving. It's easily treatable so no worries xx

i been waiting since Jan for a period. Hadnt had no indication of one none whats so ever. then may 6 i starting spotting, then for 2 weeks nothimh but indications/ Now no sign. I dont know to consider that a period or not. since it isnow a week away of my next period

I used to spot days before my period and had an ultrasound and they suspected I had a polyp in my uterus. I had a sono which confirmed it, so had surgery to remove it. my last 2 cycles Ive had no spotting at all! period just comes and thats it. so just wanted to mention it incase you have one too. A polyp can act like a natural IUD in the uterus and stop you getting pregnant.

I had this and my endocrynologist advised to get my thyroid tested. Turned out I had an underactive thyroid. Since taking medication, I'm no longer spotting before my period.
There are lots of reasons for spotting before your period, so it's good to get checked out.

i have been suffering with this from 4 ys after i went off bcp.. had all tests, u/s showed a cervical polyp & got that removed but still spotting! doc says its nothin to worry but its so annoying..there is thread spotting a week before af & buncha gals really helpful..drop by some time..u shud see ur doc & get some tests done to rule out everythin..gud luck !
