No one has the right to judge you or others for your decisions. I am very, very lucky that I never had to face that decision - but having lost 2 to mmc's im aware im very lucky.

I get frustrated with the innocence too....that sounds so bad. I've never made the decision that you did Deb, but I would make the same one. The 'innocents' only consider Down Syndrome, in some cases I'm sure they are completely unaware of anything else.

Since my son died, I've had friends with anencephalic babies, Potters Syndrome and fetal cancer. I don't think the reality, the sadness and the decisions that come with those kind of diagnoses can ever be fully understood by someone who hasn't experienced it.
