Morning Ladies!

Sorry if I shouldn't be posting this here, it's just a lot more active than pregnancy club etc. Admins feel free to move if necessary!

A friend of mine has just has a lovely little girl :cloud9: and we wanted to get her a little gift when we go to visit, as is normal I'm sure. I'd imagine they will be inundated with little teddies or girly outfits from other friends and family, and will already have all of those things from their eldest daughter who is only three, so I'd like to give something more unusual/useful/personal? Nothing too over the top though as we're hardly BFFs, just something that's not run of the mill.

Did any of you receive a gift for your previous children that really stuck in your mind? I am sooo not experienced with the baby thing!

Thanks :flower:

I run business that does unusual/unquie baby gifts. Like hampers/nappy cakes but also keepsakes and hand knitted gifts.

Dont think im allowed to post links on here. Plus dont know if your in UK as im on my phone.
Google search Bumpsadaisy
or bumpsadaisy_2012 for ebay x

Very good question-- I always look for unique gifts to give Moms-to-Be instead of the regular outfits, and stuff like that. Etsy has some great, personalized and unique gifts for Moms-to-be, but I've also given like a pampering kit for the Mom too.... something with lotions and things like that as well as a toy or something unique for the baby. :)

I usually try to stay away from clothes when giving gifts, as everyone does that. I've given books, diapers, things that you know they will use.
I'm super picky, so didn't put any clothes on my registry, just things I need !

I see you are in the UK and yesterday I was out shopping and went into Next and in the home department they have this photo frame that says family in the middle and has lots of attached frames for photos. I think that would be nice, somewhere to keep some of their new photos.

It was only about £20 also I think!

x
