How do you feel when people get you baby gifts for Christmas?


I know horrible of me to say. But, I got quite depressed when all the gifts were for baby. But, with a label to me. I appreciated them and had use for them. I did feel forgotten a bit.

I was pregnant last christmas, and I told OH that I hoped no one got me baby stuff for Christmas, and he went and told his parents not to give us baby stuff LOL

Hmmm my sis is PG due 29 march and I have no idea what to get her, agree with what you girls are saying about non baby but really stuck cos she can't think of anything!!!

People actually do that? I'd be a bit annoyed to be honest and I'd never do that to someone either.

some of these are a bit pricey. I googled "gift baskets uk" I am sure you can make one for less if you are slightly creative I am not

Yep.. I get mad though even when people bug me about the baby before they even ask how I am. It's always the same questions about the baby.. when are you due, what are you having, how is it all going, etc.. AGHH I am still a person too!!

I'm looking forward to (hopefully) getting lots of things we need for the baby, but if hubby and I get absolutely nothing for ourselves I'll be disappointed.

I have a friend who went through a phase of asking about bubs but not me every time I saw her. It used to really bug me. One day I snapped a bit when she asked how bubs was and said "No idea, but I'm fine thanks."! She got the point.
