Magic stars. :happydance:
And the fact Bens just run to the shop for me like a little sweetheart to get me a BBQ steak wrap with salad for lunch. Yumm.

And just generally in a hyper mood i guess

oo yum!
tell him to get me one while he's at it? lol
aww :hugs:
glad you're in a good mood
xx

so what are you and Shauny (& OH) up to today?
anything fun? :)
xx

Well, stuck for ideas of what we should do tonight. Either stay in and watch X-factor and have dinner indoors, or go to the cinema or something and grab a takeaway? What do you think?

x

well, I'd say the movie out ;)
just coz you won't have too much time to do it once Shauny's here!

Well, i actually haven't got a midwife or anything to ask anymore :dohh:
They made me go to this 'youngmums' thing and i got absoulutely sick of it. I didn't like being treated like i didn't know what i was doing, and the fact they spoke to me like i was 5 years old. So i asked if i could have normal midwife appointments, with everyone, of all ages, and they told me they'd send me an appointment in the post. Still haven't heard from them. Tried phoning up about it and was told that i'd have to wait to be given an appointment.

Next time i might keep my complaints to myself. Complaining = A big fat "get on with it yourself" from the national health service :growlmad:

Thats crazy, surely everyone is intitled to the same antenatal care?!

Yep so did i. Age shouldn't make a difference with your midwife appointments. We all need our babies checked and to see how we're doing. Just because i don't want to go to a patronising appointments, doesn't mean they should just cut me off completely!

Nope i'd of told them by now lol! I don't think midwife appointments are frequent enough either or long enough, i go in she checks my bp and urine sample then has a feel of my tummy and checks the heartbeat and off i go no mention of the birth or antenatal classes or anything! I won't see my midwife until 31 weeks now.

Wow that's a long time to go without an appointment! I'm going to the hospital on thursday for a blood test, so i'm going to the antenatal ward to have a right whinge about the fact they haven't given me another appointment.

Yeah totally agree, always felt like i was rushed out so quickly, because they make appointments like 5 minutes apart from eachother so they try and rush through them as quick as they can in my opinion. My last appointment, there was about 7 girls in one room having BP and urine tests done, because they was running so late they couldn't do seperate appointments, we all had like a group midwife appointment. Was so weird lol

Just thought i'd point out that at my mws you have to arrange the antenatal classes yourself.
I didn't know either :dohh: and left it a lil bit late everyone else at my class was due in december!

Thats mental lol! I'd be mega pissed off lol! Like you wanted everyone else looking at your pee haha.

She said to me that its her who runs the antenatal class so i assumed she'd tell me how to book it i really need to ring and ask her lol.

Yeah it was horrible lol! Me and OH had sat in a really bad seat aswell, in the corner out of the way (before we knew they was doing urine tests in the waiting room) and the MW decided she'd do the tests on the side, directly next to us! The girls pee was really strong aswell (sorry WAY TMI) and it smelt :( LOL!
