ginger babies

anyone have a baby that had auburn hair that changed or stayed the same colour?

my LO has this coloured hair, and theres no one in the family with hair this colour. is it just baby hair and it'll change, or no?

I don't know but Ive got red hair and no one in my family has, and my LO does too but that's cos both me and oh have got red/sandy hair and I love it!!

I was born with that colour hair and mine never changed. To my knowledge, no one else in my family has red hair, just me

My LO has red hair too, and so far it has not changed

I think it's possible for it to stay but babies hair colour can easily change.

My best friend has blond hair, he oh is mousy brown/blond. They can't think of anyone on either side of their families that has ginger hair but their lo has very ginger hair, almost orange in colour. He's now 3 and totally gorgeous!

I personally think its such a unusual hair colour that it's just beautiful! I'd love a little redhead or gingernut!

My lo has what looks like strawberry blond hair in the light but it's gradually getting darker and I think she's going brown like her sister but I desperately want her to stay as she is!

My LO has reddish hair.... I LOVE it! Unfortunately, it's slowly turning blonde Most of the back of his head is blonde now.

My MIL said that DH had reddish hair when he was a baby (although it's super blonde now) and my grandmother has red hair, so I was hoping it would stay. It's gorgeous

So it's definitely possible that your LO's hair will change... only time will tell though! My LO is 10 months but some babies hair colour might change earlier or later

LO was ginger but its so light its practically blonde now

My 9 year old had reddish hair when she was little but it has since turned dark brown. It's so strange how much hair color can change!!

Myself and OH both have dark hair. My LO was born with sandy/strawberry blonde coloured hair, which is turning more blonde now. x

my baby has red hair but neither me nor his dad do. My sister was red when she was younger but her's turned blonde and baby's dad has brothers with red hair.

Sometimes a mutant gene is formed and gives us red hair - my sister is auburn from birth it has never changed. hope this helps

Me and my OH both are brunette, dom however is a bronzy/ sandy ginger colour! each day it looks a different shade, blonder some days, redder on others, its a wonderful colour though, i personally love red hair though its cute!

OH was blonde as a bub, i was golden brown! soon changed to *dark* brown

My LO was born wit jet black hair... now its starting to go auburn. My OH is a red head.
