Hi ladies,

So I'm 3 wks pp today and I haven't really been wearing my girdle like I should be...I don't know if its the stress from Breastfeeding or the lack of sleep, but its totally slipped my mind. The hospital gave me a belly bandage type thing that I rarely wear because its so uncomfortable. I've been pretty much cooped up in my room with baby nursing her, so wearing something tight has been the last thing on my mind.....IS IT TOO LATE TO WEAR IT NOW?????...SHOULD I GET A GIRDLE INSTEAD????

Also, why is my belly button still protruding?? Could this be because i haven't been wearing the girdle?? I feel like such an idiot for not doing so religiously.:cry::cry:..im gonna regret this later..im regreting it now..omg i'm freaking out!!

don't be so hard on yourself, it's hard to remember anything when you are constantly feeding a baby. What I would say is to start doing your pelvic floor exercise, but also look at core building ones too. There's a really good website called pelvic floor first that goes into it.

Try not to freak out, everything does feel strange after having a LO. The more you strengthen you core, the more everything will pull in. For this you gave to active your core, and not do traditional ab exercises such as crunches. Get someone to check that you abs have come back together and ask the doctor to check your belly button, you may have an umbilical hernia. Don't stress about this, if it is minor then you can leave it alone and just make sure you support it with a strong core.

I have one, and I wish someone had told me to start core exercises after having my LO
