We have found out that we are on team pink! Well 80% hehe! We are getting another scan on the 8th to be 100% sure...

We have an almost 2 yr old son named Jacob William Lamb.... it took us until I was 36 weeks pregnant to finally agree on this name it was so difficult! Not only because DH and I were having a hard time agreeing but also having the surname Lamb makes finding name to go with hard as well.

We chose William as a middle name right away after my father in law passed, and we want to do the same for my mother who passed as well (Lisa Anne Taylor) since _______ Lisa Lamb doesn't sound too great we've decided on _________ Taylor Lamb...

So the challenge is to find a girl's name to go with Jacob as well as _______ Taylor Lamb. I figured I would just start this thread and if anyone wanted to post their ideas as we would be greatful!

All you BnB girls are fantastic and I love all your support and cyber friendships! Thank for your help!

I think something soft and feminiemne. Susie, Mandy, Jenny, Bethaney, Abbey, Lindsey, Rosie.

I like Rose (Rosie) Taylor Lamb (As the PP suggested)

Also

Samantha Taylor Lamb

Lillyanna Taylor Lamb

Jessica Taylor Lamb

Harley Taylor Lamb

Ruby Taylor Lamb

Jessica Taylor Lamb
Jasmine Taylor Lamb
Peyton Taylor Lamb
Sierra Taylor Lamb

Incorporating your mom's names:

Elisa Taylor Lamb
Annabelle Taylor Lamb
Annie Taylor Lamb

I loove middle names with family connections (all my children have middle names after family )

Taylor Anne Lamb (i really like this one )
Grace Taylor Lamb
Phoebe Taylor Lamb
Ava Taylor Lamb
Rose Taylor Lamb
Anna Taylor Lamb (like this one too)

Let us know what you decide :winkwink:. xx

I think Rosie, Ruby and Annie work really well so far.

I quite like Evy Taylor Lamb, Kendra Taylor Lamb, Calli Taylor Lamb.

So many names! What kind of names do you like?
:-)

- And I really like Taylor Anne Lamb :-)

Wow thanks girls! These are great!! I have no idea what kind of names I like, I think that is part of the problem! I really would like a longer first name so she can have a nick name... Like I love Charlotte (Charlie) DH doesn't! I also love Evelyn (Evy) but DH doesn't :( Kendra was also one I mentioned to DH, Grace is nice too, we both like Danica and Helena or Elena but besides that nothing else really has come up that we both agree on...

I really like Taylor Anne Lamb too, but I am not sure if I want a unisex first name, I would like a feminine name, I know a few Taylor girls and guys so I guess that is why. When someone doesn't know me and I say I have 2 kids Jacob and Taylor I don't want them to wonder is Taylor a girl or boy? LOL does that sound silly?

I am going to mention some of these to DH and see what he thinks! Thanks so much for all your help, keep 'em coming!

Well I might be naming my baby girl Jaden-Lynne i think its adorable

Abbey Taylor
Sophie Taylor
Mia Taylor
Emily Taylor
Megan Taylor
Hannah Taylor

You could always hyphenate, Taylor-Anne, then they wouldnt wonder if it was a boy or girl . I think its a lovely name and my daughter Sofia was very nearly a Taylor, or maybe spell it in a more feminine way, ive seen it spelt Tayla before. xx

I love the name Jaden-Lynne Rachface! Very nice! (I won't steal it LOL) It gives the name a for sure girl touch! I like the idea of a hyphenated name good idea Mumof5, Taylor-Anne etc. That way is is feminine too... Oh boy too many names to choose from it is so hard!! I know once we have it we'll know though, with my son we had considered Jacob, but not too seriously, then like fate was telling us something, I was on a business trip flying to Chicago and there was a cute little boy sitting a row ahead of me named Jacob and he was giving me all his toys talking and playing with me... I came home to DH and said you know what I really love the name Jacob! :)

I do love Emily as well... I also love Hannah but unfortunately Hannah Lamb is not good! (too much like had a lamb IMO)

I understand what you mean by Taylor, I think I'd be the same if I knew I was having a girl :-P but I still like the name and as the girls have said Taylor-Ann is very feminine and pretty <3

Hope you get sorted, your DH sounds so fussy! hehehe! x

Well it is now official and we are having a girl!! I had given up looking for names because I was so overwhelmed.... For a whole month now I have not even opened a book or thought about it and now I am ready again! So just thought I would put this thread back out there again and see if anyone had any suggestions...

So just to recap...

So the challenge is to find a girl's name to go with Jacob as well as _______ Taylor Lamb. The only criteria I have is that it has to be a name that sounds nice when said with a french tone/accent as we are billingual here and our children are/will be in french school etc. the other is that I don't want anything starting with an "L" because of the surname no "J" because I want my kids to have different startings of names and no "M" because everyone except my son would have an "M" name. Is that too much thought into it? :haha:

Anyways Thank for all your help and suggestions you are all an amazing group of women!
