We have 3 names we are considering and welcome opinions!

Ella
Evelyn
Maria

Which do you prefer? Older brother is Elijah so needs to match. Do you think Ella and Elijah are too similar for siblings ? This is probably our favourite. Or can anyone offer other names which match Elijah?

I love Ella to me it doesn't sound too much with Elijah. I also like Evelyn (Evie for short). Not a fan of Maria but thats's just me it's still a nice name.

My daughters named Ellie, and I like Elijah if this baby is a boy but I'm also debating wether Ellie and Elijah are too similar

I love the name Evelyn and it's cute because you can shorten it to Eve and Evie, Ella is nice but I've always prefered Ellie over Ella!

I guess I'm the only person who likes Maria! I think its sometimes by association that this name sounds like an 'old lady' name. Its classic, timeless and personally I think its very pretty.

I think my favourite of the three is Ella though. Very feminine

I'm feeling much happier with Ella now!

Think we will go with Ella Maria (if its a girl - we already had boys name we both love).

SisterRose - Although I initially thought maybe too similar I now think Ellie/Ella and Elijah would be great together! Good luck making your choice.

while both Ella and Maria are pretty i think the double a sounds a bit odd, maybe Ella Marie would flow better

Hmm..

I think Ella Maria or Ella Marie are both very pretty.

Keep in mind it depends what their last name is. If their surname ends with a, then I dont think the first will work but thats unlikely.
