Hello ladies! :hi:

This is my first post, as I have only discovered this forum and am 40+4 today :dohh:

I am expecting a little girl, and am waiting (not very patiently!) for her arrival and trying to decide on a name. What are your opinions?

Layla Rose
Lucy May

Surname will be Bennett. What do you think sounds best? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank-you! :flower:

I like both, but think i prefer Lucy May... although, I may be a bit biased..... :winkwink:

Oh Lucy May is lovely, it has a real ring to it and flows off the tongue

Good luck with Layla or Lucy May's arrival

xxx

Thanks for your replies, I am so torn!!! I just hate the idea of anyone thinking "ooh no don't like that!" even though it shouldn't really matter what other people think. Maybe I should just wait til she arrives and see what suits her best.

Also hoping they haven't got the sex wrong, as have no boys names and most things I've bought/been given are pink!! lol. Dunno how common this is?!?!

I love Lucy & Layla -- both so pretty! My son's teacher just named her daughter Leila -- love it! (Pronounced the same as Layla).

I prefer the middle name Rose with both names. I think you should wait to meet her & then decide which name suits her best! Let us know!

Both names are very sweet. I like the sound of Lucy Rose Bennett. At this point, you may as well wait to meet her (hopefully will not be much longer!)

Well it seems like either name I choose will be liked, thanks for your views! Just need little lady to make an appearance now so I can decide!!

Hope she comes this weekend!

Lucy May Bennett sounds really nice

Agree it's so hard isn't it - we've only got 2 names we agree on, Emma or Isabelle, thinking Grace for 2nd name for either

Both are lovely bt I think I prefer Layla Rose a bit more . xx
