I am a little scared now as I have to go back to the hospital for a Glucose Tolerance Test on Tuesday as the baby is big and I have lots of fluid around it. Bit scared now. :nope:

Hopefully it will be ok. Does anyone else have Pregnancy Diabetes - no-one in my family has ever had diabetes - I am fairly slim and did a lot of excercise before the pregnancy.

Oh well better to be safe and checked!!

Hi Hun,
You are in a very similar situation to me. I went in yesterday due to reduced movement - baby is fine but my fundal height is 43!!!!! Also baby feels huge and I have very low fluid so its all baby! They sent me for a GTT today and I get the result tomorrow. Have a growth scan on Wed too to confirm babies size. Dont panic - its easily controlled and once baby is here will have very little impact on either of you and usually goes away. Just wanted to send hugs xx

I been told i got gd. Im on diet control, which has just started, its not that bad either to be honest, there is a lot of food you can eat which i found suprising. Try not to worry about it, easier said i know, but it will be ok, it does go after the baby is born. Just means they will keep a closer eye on you and the baby, more scans too which is the good part.

aww hun ive also gota go in for a 2nd GTT test on tues, i had my first one on mon and my results came back high so ive gota be retested, it worrys me because i am quite big for 29 weeks and i worry that its because the baby is so large and it might be becuase of the gd, but hopefully its not and the baby is normal sized :D

big hugs tho hun xxxx
