Going to be induced in a few hours and starting to worry!

I'm 38 weeks today and they are inducing me in a few hours due to bad spd and chronic back pain. They said they are using the gel only and my consultant has wrote a plan but I haven't seen it. What are the chances of the gel working?? I'm starting to worry in case it doesn't and I'm stuck in hospital for a few weeks or have to have a section

Good luck with your induction hope everything goes well and please keep us updated! Im feeling nervous like you for the same reasons, i am due to be induced tomorrow with my 2nd baby who is currently 12 days late! Hope all goes well, big hug xxxx
