Gonal F - refrigerate??

Hi ladies,
I'm about to embark on my first IVF/ICSI and have been given Gonal F. I was told to keep it in the fridge until I open it. Am I meant to keep it in the fridge the whole time?

I was told to put it in the fridge after it was open rather than before. If in doubt, I'd give the clinic a call and double-check. The people at my clinic are great and are always happy to answer questions, no matter how silly we think they are!

I was told to keep in the fridge all the time, from delivery.

Hi

I was told to keep it in the fridge as much as possible. When I have to take it somewhere (ie work) I put it in a cooler bag with an ice pack.

Ive kept mine in the whole time too. I wasnt sure what to do regarding taking it places but Anabanana ur right, Ill use the ice packs and take it with me if I have to.

Hi ya,

I was told to keep mine in thr fridge until I opened it. Then it could be kept in the bathroom as long as it was used within 28 days, which obviously it was.

I was also advised to take it out of the fridge half an hour before using it for the first time, as it can sting if its cold.
