Gonal F users, Need urgent help by 8.30pm tonight

Girls I panicked last night, did the injections myself. So with Goal F u know u have to prep the needle put it on 37.5iui and get a drop out and then do it at ur dosage and inject urself.

Well the nurse when she showed us, when u put it on 37.5iui and press the back how much liquid is meant to come out? The nurse said a few droplets. Well mine squirted out a fair bit, not just a few droplets. Like it sprayed for a few seconds maybe 5.

Is this right, or did i do something wrong last night? Not sure what to do tonight. Please help, i do my injections at 8.30pm

Oh hun I never used gonal so I can't be much help. Can you still check the dosage after it has sprayed?? As long as you are getting somewhere near the right dose it'll be fine. I used to lose loads of menopur when I loaded the syringe.

Thanks Kath, i did menapur last time too. Im new to this and our learning session with nurse was a month ago. The needle is already ready and its max dosage is 900iui, my daily dosage is 450iui, so i dont now if ill have enough for tonight. Im going to panic soon. Maybe i should sms choc and ask her.

Last night was a faulty pen. DH did it tonight and only a few droplets and we compared whats left over and there is def a big difference between the 2 pens. Ill have to get a replacement on wednesday at my scan. thanks for asking hun, just panicing cause i didnt it want to happen again tonight.

I wonder if going a bit numb in the leg after is normal. I dont remember anyone commenting on it before. Maybe cause im on such a high dosage.

I found the leg really painful and bruised easy. Stomach much better.

Glad it went ok, I used to get myself in a right state!!
