Anyone use/recommend???

Daisy has gone from sleeping from 6-7 to sleepin 6-3-7 and is now awake after being put down at 6, we havent started weaning yet (starting on thursday) but was wondering if anyone recommends trying GN Followon milk when she hits 6 months (she's 24 weeks on weds:D) TIA xxxx

I no my mate has used it and her 6 month old goes down at 7 and stays down til 7, but her baby had been on solids since she was just over 2 months old xxx

thanks hun... i'm just a bit dubious as i dunno if its gonna be bad for her little tummy! tbh i dont ming the night wakings but i dont want her to get into bad habits and not be able to get her out of them :S

It's basically cereal in a bottle, which is a bit of a no-no really, they're taking in solids without realising so could easily lead to overfeeding / constipation. I really wouldn't give it personally. It's probably a phase... hope it ends soon.

my first slept all night from 8 weeks on normal first stage cow and gate milk, second was on aptamil and slept through from 6 weeks so neither needed anything 'extra' iykwim - i would be quite wary of giving heavier milk to have lo sleep longer, it seems quite common now though, and my youngest is only 6 but i never would have given a milk specifically designed to have him sleep longer as they wake and feed as needed as young babies ad i think that should be how it is

luisa has c&g goodnight and she sleeps through.. if she doesnt have it then she wakes at 3am for a feed could be a coinsidence..

works for us :)

I started Izzy on the C&G Night time milk after 6 months (she was eating fruit and veg from 4 months).

I am not entirely convinced if it does much for her - she has always been a good sleeper (12-14hrs) - the reason I started her on it was obviously not lack of sleep! I just felt that at night she sometimes didn't settle as well as in the day when she was eating food. So I thought the thicker feel in her tummy might make her feel more sleepy - and to be fair she does go to sleep much easier since 6 months.
I don't know, maybe a coincidence?

It hasn't affected her weight in a bad way - she is still bang on the 50th centile - so I cant see that it has done her any harm at all.
