*Goofball Moment*. How do you check CM?

I just got my nails done a few days ago, and didn't think about how I would check my CM. Is there any other way to check? Possibly with a Q-tip?

I wash and sanitize my hands constantly, especially right before I am going to check my CM, just not sure how i'd reach my cervix, as my nails are about an inch long.

Any advice ladies?

Well swabbing with a q-tip or taking toliet paper and kind of rolling it and then (sounds super odd) sticking it in and checking whats on the tip of the toliet paper since its a bigger range then a q-tip and easier to see what it looks like
