That I didn't tell them I'm pregnant!!!

It all happened so fast, I went in for an interview - ended up staying for a trial run and got offered the job on the spot.
We really need the money and I was scared if I told them they wouldn't give me the job!

:( now I feel bad! Xx

Yay well done on getting the job!! I know it's hard but you shouldn't feel bad... you have to do what's right for you and your family :D

:wohoo: congrats on the new job :)
Dont feel bad though, you need the job and they need you. I know they say they dont discriminate against pregnant women but believe me they do!!
xx

Don't feel too bad. I was in the same position with my first pregnancy, and I know it doesn't feel great. But I also think I wouldn't have gotten the job had they known I was pregnant....

Like everyone said don't feel bad! Ya know what id do? Id tell them i didn't know i was pregnant!

Congrats! :)

Thanks girls! I'm actually well proud of myself!

I think that's what I'm gonna do, in 4 weeks time I'll say that I had a shock and found out I was pregnant. Hopefully they'll be understanding. They all seem lovely so fingers crossed!

And even if they think of an excuse to get rid of me after my probation because I'm pregnant?? Well, at least I earnt 3 months wages! Xx

I reckon as long as you make sure to get a confirmation of the offer in writing you're ok to tell them. They'd have to be really careful about getting rid of you after your probation once you've told them - being preggers will make it more difficult for them, I think. It was the same for my friend who was at risk of being made redundant - she was more protected because they have to cover themselves from discrimination. The fact that you're already preggers before you start may have a slight impact on your maternity pay, that's all - but that should all be made clear in your contract or in the company HR guidelines somewhere. My mum's an HR manager for a big company, and she said the other day if I applied for a job now I'd be under no obligation to tell them about the pregnancy til I started, and then they'd have to be super careful - so you should hopefully be fine :) Good luck!! xx

Im waiting to start a job, which was suppose to start in September (I would have only been 4 weeks when I started) However now Im starting in October and feel really guilty I just think Im going to shocked to, and have to tell them, after my 12 week scan, I want to let them know asap, I dont think they can stop probabtion because you are pregnant.. due to discrimination.. we could sue them for it if they did.. So I tihnk we are covered... Congrats!
