My LO no longer likes being spoon fed, he just cries and reaches for the spoon. If i try to give him a bowl of food with the spoon he doesn't do anything but play with it.
I've already been giving my LO some cheerios and graduate puffs as a snack and he's very good at gumming them up...but now i think were ready to move on to more finger foods. My question is how do you it? I've heard some say that giving strips of toast or whole fruit or veggie chunks so long as they are soft is fine (whole steamed carrots, ripe pear slices etc.) Yet others tell me to break everything up into small pieces for LO to grab and eat..
Please help. I'm so frightened of choking...so what's the best way to do this? And what are some good finger food ideas for a 9 month old? Thank you!
