Great North Run 2014

The runners were picked for the GNR 2014 today, and I'm in! Just need to decide now which charity to run for. Not looking forward to the training, but needs must, and should help get me in shape for my wedding

Is there anyone else who has entered and has got a place?

I've not, but I did the Great Birmingham (13.1 miles) run last October and it was amazing. I loved it. I ran for Tommy's in memory of my girls and all my friends angel babies, it made me run that bit harder so worth finding something you are really passionate about.

I got a place through the daily mirror ballot so have already had a few weeks panicking about how I'm gonna run 13 miles!!

I thought we selected a charity at application? Did we not?? I totally can't remember as I did it in such a rush!

My mil is doing it, she does it for the 4Louis charity which supplys memory box's to hospitals up and down the country to parents who dont get to bring there babies home like us with our first son x
