Two weeks ago I started giving my LO a small bottle of formula a day at bedtime because he was taking forever to go to bed and his weight gain was slow. Since then he is pooping 7 or 8 times a day (previously it was once) and has frequent green poops, which are often very mucusy.

I called the health visitor to ask whether it was normal and she thinks he might be intolerant to formula (she is also a LC). My lo has always been a very fussy feeder and this is making me wonder if perhaps there's something in that.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Going to take him to the doctors tomorrow if I can get an appointment.

Green mucousy poop can be a sign of a milk intolerance .
