Growth scans

Been to the mw this morning and she's booked me in for a growth scan on tuesday as Iv been measuring 33 weeks since my 34 week appointment and im now 36 weeks. Just wondered if they'd actually give me an estimate of babys weight at the scan and if anyone else has had this done how accurate have these estimates been for everyone?

I had 2 growth scans - one at 32+6 and they said baby was 49%ile and weighed approx 4 1/2 lbs..... Next growth scan was 36+6 and they said baby hadnt really grown and weighed 4 1/2 - 5 lbs at most (femur length, head circ., and waist were all measuring between 32-33 weeks on the scan) They induced that night because of this 2nd scan - baby was born the following day weighing 5 lbs 14 oz- a whole pound bigger than they thought!

hiya, popping in from baby club.
i had a growth scan cause i was measuring too small- turns out the baby was back to back and thats why.
but just so you know that they cant always get an estimate weight. because of the way my lo was lying they couldnt get the head measurement- meant i couldnt get an estimated weight.
