Growth spurt aftermath?

Anyone else's newborn not eat and just sleep all. day. long. following a big growth spurt? A little worried about how little he's nursing today, but he ate 23/7 the past few days and packed on the weight, soo...

Is he still having wet and dirty nappies?

Yes, but I'm having to wake him to change them and then he'll fall back asleep with barely a suckle. If I keep him awake to nurse, he just won't nurse and hangs out (alert, not lethargic or floppy) until he falls asleep again. My first never acted like this. He always recovered from growth spurts by nursing some more.

I've heard they can go either way, as long as there are the wet/dirty nappies

My girl tends to follow two days of crazy feeding and almost no sleep with a day of barely waking. Sounds normal X
