My and OH broke up, we're still living together until our lease runs out, but I have one question.

How do I afford to do this on my own?

I need to afford a deposit, rent, furniture, tv, gas, electricity, food, water, phone bill, nursery all on my own and I honestly don't know how i'm going to do it!

I've not even got a job yet, i'm looking but anything I get I really can't see how I can afford it all :nope:

Feel so sorry for my little girl, she deserves so much better than just scrapping through

Sorry to hear this hun, while its not ideal, there are benefits you can claim for you and baby, until you get back into work, do you have famil you can stay with for a while ? , good luck x

like the pp said there are benefits to help out and once you get work there are subsidies to help also. and make your ex help out also it is his child too.
Then figure out what and where you want your life to go pick a goal and go for it.

I'm so sorry you have to join us. However, where I'm from we have help from DHS to help for child care, food and other needs. You should check into the benefits you would qualify for where you are from until you can find some work. Also, the FOB should have to help with stuff like that. It is his child. File for child support, which you are allowed to use that money for your bills etc. Hope everything works out for you, hun. :hugs:
