Did the deed last night and got a smiley face on a clear blue ovulation test today about 4pm.... Now the boyfriend isn't back till Friday night as he's a driver.... So I'm taking it as I'm out for this month??? Gutted isn't the word xx

You should still be safe. Sperm can last in the body for up to 5 days, and you typically ovulate within 12-24 hours of getting a positive opk, so there is still a chance you could catch the egg. Good luck!
