Had 1st FS appointment on Thursday

Hi Ladies

My DH and I had our first FS appointment on Thursday. He had all our test results ready (CD2 & CD19 bloods, cervical smear and DH SA results which we were already aware of).

He basically asked me questions about if I have ever had any STI's and how often DH and I are bding. He then read through out test results - all my results were find and in order - nothing to be concerned about. He then read my DH SA results and almost fell off his chair saying his SA results were 'super human' and he had never seen SA results that good before in his clinic! So basically our infertility is currently unexplained so he has requested I have Lap and dye test done which should happen before the end of Jan 09 and I'm just waiting for the appointment to come through.

FS told us if they find nothing is wrong when I have my Lap, he will start the ball rolling with assisted conception when we reach the 2 yr of TTC mark.

So now we have been TTC for 16 months - why can't be get pregnant when DH SA results as sooo good - I'm really concerned they will find something wrong with me when I have my Lap.

I will be having a lap and dye done soon as well as have had chamydia in the past which means i am more at risk of having tubal damage. If they do find something wrong it is much better to know. Try not to worry they are just ruling it out right now. Good luck with the lap!
