Had a special day today...just wanted to share

Today was very special for me... I just wanted to share:

First off I hit 36 weeks today and my midwife said if my baby girl is born today or anytime after she will not have to go to the newborn ICU for reasons of being premature.

Second is I had my baby shower today and I got to get all dolled up. I had my hair done and had a lovely gown to wear. I just felt pretty (something I have not felt in a very long time.)

Finally i had about 50 guests show up to my shower and i feel overwhelmed with all the love I am sorrounded by. I truly feel blessed for all the gifts my baby got. Some of the most special gifts were those that were handmade: a knitted blanket, a handmade quilt and a pair of crochet baby booties.

I just wanted to share my special day with you lovely ladies!
