Bit of a long one ladies, I apologise!
My due date has always been a bit of funny one, as my coil fell out without my knowing and we're still not entirely sure when but there are lots of things making me believe I may be a good few weeks further along than I've been dated.
- Firstly, at my booking appointment, my midwife questioned how far along my 'dates' ( no real period in over 2 years because of coil, 2 days of spotting in February) made me, and if I was having a multiple pregnancy because I palpated a lot larger.
- At a scan I had at 13+6, due to talking part in a research study, baby was visibly moving a lot and jumping around. I felt light, fluttery, goldfish-y movement for the first time at 14+3, and have felt it almost daily since.
- My GP noted that my uterus was already in line with the top of my belly button when I went to see her regarding round ligament pain last week at 15 weeks according to my dates.
-My Midwife said the same thing in regards to my uterus on Monday at my 16 week appointment, and was able to feel baby moving when she pressed on my stomach.
- And finally, I visited an osteopath this morning as I was diagnosed with SPD at 14 weeks, and she also a) felt baby move with her hand b) commented on how large I am ( I've been a slim size 6 all my adult life, yet my bump is very large in proportion to my frame and I've had it since '8 weeks') c) said i had pelvic pain she'd never seen in someone so early.
I'm just wondering if my dates can be really wrong without anyone being any the wiser. I was an incredibly small baby, 5lb 10oz born on due date, and my partner was 7lb a week late. By my dates, I'm currently 16+3, but I'm really doubting how accurate that is. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Pictures of the infamous bump included.
