Please help, I'm just tormented, I had a gender scan yesterday I'm 17wks and he said cause he saw no boy bits it's prob a girl I saw no girl bits either though the nurse said by 22 wks it cud be a boy so don't buy pink ! I'm just thinking should I go with girl or get another scan my son wasn't confirmed even at 30 weeks could i just have boys with high bits or maybe they not developed yet really love your thoughts ??

Any pictures? We may be able to take a guess based on skull shape. Both female and male genitalia has definitely developed by 22 weeks - they usually can predict gender at 16 weeks as that's when most genitalia has formed.

Hmm wow. This baby really doesn't want you to know! I would guess boy from your pic based on skull but that's not a reliable theory so it could definitely be a girl.

Guessing girl based on the head shape, although it also looks like the head is slightly turned away so I'm not too sure either. Lol, they sure want you to keep guessing!

with DD2, we couldnt tell!! She kept crossing her legs and then the cord was in the way when they werent! I even went to one of those private 3D scans. We didnt finally find out until 32wks! So we went from 20-32 with guessing, lol.

With my youngest daughter (now nearly 6) I had a 16 week scan and they said "looks like a girl"(it was not a specific gender scan, but volunteering for student ultrasound techs). With my youngest son I went for a private gender scan at 16 weeks and was scanned by a consultant, who was pretty sure it was a boy but invited me for a free 23 week scan if the hospital think different :). My point here being that from what I understand most boys are already possible to determine by 16 weeks.

I've had two hyperactive babies that did this. One was a girl and one was a boy. Thankfully with the girl we had a patient tech who wanted quite a while to get a potty shot... maybe about 20 minutes? Finally she did uncross her legs but then the cord kept getting in the way. With my DS he kept flipping so that his back was facing us and we had to go back at 22 weeks for another scan when he was in a better position. I'm going to guess girl for the simple reason that my two girls both had heads facing to the right and my DS had his head facing to the left of the sac.
