had my baby it was my 5th section

hi ladies sorry for the delay in posting but I have been very poorly, well my darling baby was delivered at 34 weeks Harry James, he is beautiful.
It was my fifth section I had placenta previa accreta, my placenta was starting to grow into my bladder wall, so my consultant had me delivered before it got worse.
I had four ops in 24 hrs which I was awake for them all it was touch and go, I didnt see bubba for 3 days as he was in the special care baby unit and I was in high dependancy unit.
I managed to keep my uterus, and im slowly on the mend, I can truely say I will never have anymore babies, I cannot believe we are both here alive and well. xxxx

I am so glad to hear from you! I was wondering what had happened to you. Congratulations on the birth of your baby. i am very sorry for what you have been through. If you don't mind me asking, why did you have 4 operations? did they cut into your bladder or bowel?
I have my caesarean in 8 days, very very nervous. i have consented to the section and also getting my tubes tied. For a while i was really contemplating about having a fifth but after talking to alot of professionals i have decided this will be my last. Just want to get through this section, have my baby in my arms and be able to look after the children I have got.
Definitely happy to hear from you, to know that you and your little baby made it. Are you back home now? When did you deliver? Hows baby doing?

congratulations, so glad you and baby are well, I am due my third baby in December and having planned c-section this time after having a bladder tear during the last one and I have really bad scar tissue. From prev ops. I am a bit nervous about something going wrong again but staying positive.

hi ladies due to the placenta previa accreta and due to it being my fifth section I was high risk for a bleed, as the placenta was growing into my bladder, so I had an op before the section to fit balloons so if I bled it would stop it, that took an hour and 15 mins, the section took 3 and a half hours due to them having to be careful, after the section I then had to go to another theatre for them to remove one balloon after which I went into shock, I was very poorly, the next morning I had to go to theatre again to have the other balloon removed, I then had a blood transfusion and was in bed for 3 days, Baby Harry is fine he is lovely, its taking me ages to get back to normal xxxx

i tell you baby5 you are a very brave lady! 'wow' youve been through so much...iam so glad that your feeling abit better...i wouldve been having panic attacks if it were me...the hospital staff must have been fab and not only safely delivered you another healthy baby, but also sounds as though took good care of you too! well done, is that profile pic of your lil guy? had your consultants been aware of the possible scenario and let you know before hand?

Wow baby5hopeful! I am so sorry that you have had such a difficult experience. I am just glad you and little baby have pulled through. Glad you are on the mend. Baby5 hopeful,just so scared now of going through the section myself now. Keep looking at my kids and thinking if I am going to get the chance to see them again when I go for my section. Really not liking the idea now. Just got 6 days left now, well just about 5 days, its nearly 12 midnight for my section.
