Had my baby today!

Kaillem Gunnar was born today at 39+0 by induction at 1:40 pm weighing 7 lbs 1 oz and measuring 20 inches long! The birth itself was pretty short especially for a FTM. Pitocin started at 12:30 am, labor progressed fairly naturally and quickly and I began light pushes at about 1:20 pm. Just four or five contractions later and he was here! I has a second degree tear, which wasn't bad but then my pain began to get really bad and I had to have emergency surgery for a vulvar hematoma. That part was scary, but the important thing is that he is very healthy and he is here! Thanks for everything ladies! I hope to see you around the boards! Now I'm exhausted and I'm going to go sleep!
