On wednesday 15th may i had a sweep i started getting mild pains later on that evening into the next day. I decided to go to the hospital around lunch time on 16th to be checked as i suspected i was in early labour the midwife did a sweep on me and the pains got alot worse and kept coming so they told me to stay at the hospital as i live a hour away and itbwas my secpnd pregnancy things could progress quickly.
By later evenig my contractions had sliwed right down so i tried to get some sleep which was really difficult at tr hospital so at 5.30 am i decided i wanted to come home as i was still only 3cm and fed up and tired.
Got home had some breakfast and a sleep by 2pm contractions had got really painful but were still 7mins apart my husband insisted i got back to hospital i was in the bath at this point he made me get out and when i did the contractions became more or less constant i got in car but on way to hospital really wanted to push felt alot of pressure.
Got to hospital by 3pm and at 4.20pm my gorgeous little boy Harlen was bprn weighing 7lbs 12 and is completely perfect.
I was discharged 4hours later and feel great it is true what they say second one is so much easier hes just fitted perfectly into our family and im so completely in love with him.
